Leadership

Matt has served as the Lead Pastor of CrossWay Community church since October of 2021.  Matt graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Matt works bi-vocationally and is currently finishing his Masters of Theological and Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary.   He married his wife Denise in 1999, and they have two adult children: Kaylee and Seth.

John-Mark lives in New Caney with his wife, Amy, and their 6 children: Afton, Belle, Calvin, Deacon, Eva, and Finley. John-Mark has a passion for serving and shepherding this community of believers into a deeper love of God and a greater knowledge of the Gospel, so that the Gospel would pervade every area of life. He has served in churches both vocationally and in volunteer capacities since 2007. John-Mark and his family joined Crossway Community Church in December of 2025, where he now serves as one of the Pastors. In addition to, and in service of, his Gospel Call to shepherd the church, John-Mark loves to roast coffee, write poetry, and spend time with his family exploring Texas.
